Purchasing: Our Honey Shop

We have a little shop on the farm where you can browse 'til your heart's content.

You'll see four different kinds of local honey in a variety of bottles, tubs and pails. Walk a little further into the shop and connect with the smell of beeswax candles and the heady scent of honey. You'll pass

books for kids and grownups, knick knacks, an array of condiments all made with honey and much more. We have buttertarts and cookies, too.

If you're curious you'll see around the corner huge barrels filled with the wonderful honey the bees collected from the fields and hillsides of the Nipissing, Loring countryside. Bring in a bucket or pail and we'll fill it with the honey of your choice.

You may get a glimpse of the 'big kitchen' where all the honey magic happens: tasty honies infused, creamed and buttered; relishes, mustards, jams and jellies all made from locally grown berries and

fruit. Something might be bubbling on the stove or bread may be baking in the oven - but you're guaranteed to smell something deliciious long before you find the kitchen.

If you have some extra time or are curious to learn more about the bees, make sure your ask questions.

We have a comfy sitting area where you'll find books about the honeybee in all flavours for the inquiring mind: children's books, research articles, very old books on the subject and some very recent books both fiction and non-fiction.

That's a little bit about our shop.  Drop in anytime between 10 in the morning until 5 p.m.
